A week ago I had my last at Roche. It felt weird to leave such a great organization after almost 4 years of working their and pushing for the adoption of #opensource and in particular #rstats within the company and beyond. Tomorrow a new chapter starts. I'm excited!!

@Andreasheenn If you want to contribute as an individual then the easiest way is to indicate on an issue on a repo of interest that you'd liked to tackle it. You'd get support from the team to make sure your first contribution goes smoothly.

@KravitzEl Yes! In fact we'll be producing every part of the submission package, i.e. SDTM, ADaM and TFLs, in #RStats for all new clinical trials starting Q2 2023.

Props to everyone at Roche (100+ people) who've made this transition possible. I may be presenting in the webinar (along with 2 of my great colleagues) but I only served my little part in this effort. It definitely takes a village for such a change to materialize. #RStats

Can't wait to kick off 2023 with a #Posit webinar on how Roche is shifting to #RStats as its backbone for analyzing and reporting clinical trials. This has been in the making for 5+ years and we're almost there. Such an exciting time to work in Pharma. Make sure to tune in!

@TBroekel @sharon000 It's about plotting so shouldn't mirror either {dplyr} or baseR. It's basically a wrapper around {ggplot2} to create common plots with a more intuitive interface.

Developing {ggtrace} has led me to the most black magic thing I've ever discovered in R: Using `trace()`, you can inject an expression which, when triggered, will "climb up" to the caller frame and evaluate a `return()` statement in there, highjacking its output from the inside!

Thanks for the shout out! A year worth of effort involving more than a dozen individuals from 2 pharma companies jointly working as 1 dev team. Been an awesome experience! One step further along the journey of making #RStats the tool of choice for #datascience in pharma.
