While social media is polarising, evidence suggests AI may nudge people towards the centre.
This holds true of all studied models. Grok is more right-leaning than other models, but also has depolarising effects.

I'm concerned about this verdict and the overall trend of treating speech platforms as addictive — and therefore dangerous — products.
Also, the verdict diminishes the responsibility parents have to raise healthy kids. For example:
"Kaley says she began using YouTube at age 6 and Instagram at age 9 and told the jury she was on social media 'all day long' as a child."
Where were the parents?

It's almost been a month since war started and Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, was killed.
Some I’ve been speaking to expected the war to end that same day, but it didn’t. And Iran’s establishment is still in place.

Whilst ordinary Iranians during the war go to great lengths to connect to the internet, officials and some government supporters do have access.

Iranian outlets have published a 9-page message by Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.
There represents a stark difference compared to Nowruz messages given by his father, Ali Khamenei, who would traditionally deliver the message in front of the camera.

In the days before the Persian new year festival of Nowruz, Iranians would usually be excitedly preparing.
But this year's Nowruz will be the first many in the country have experienced at war.
