And just like that, 2 years of Advanced Endoscopy fellowship flew by, ending this 18-year journey in medical training. So grateful towards my family for standing by me and my mentors inside and outside the endoscopy suite! Very excited to continue lifelong learning in the field!

Tattoos spread out over time & create a nightmare for EMR/ESD. Can always be specific in report on location of tattoo compared to polyp. If not careful, something well intentioned can ruin attempts at future removal.

Best either to:
1. Resect if you have the expertise

While EMR is technically the “simplest” of the options, ESD has the lowest associated recurrence rates!
