crazy how much of a blindspot australia is for many people
i have lived in a bunch of places but nothing beats australia in terms of quality of life
there’s high trust, people are friendly, lots of natural ressources, developed economy, far from conflict, incredible weather
it’s hard not to be happy down here

This post below, that went viral, about my one and only visit to token2049 in Dubai 2 years ago, made this account big
I also made the prediction that accumulated bad karma would finish the place. In my own words: ¨The negative energy this place is accumulating, with the emphasis of money & decadence and how they treat the workers will destroy this place. Morally speaking, or from a humane perspective, this cannot keep going like this and they will pay a heavy price for it one day¨
That prediction has now come true

@talkintokens you don't really need to solve 1, ideally on chain prices become the oracles

happy i was able to contribute to this piece on The Great RWA Looping Trade
with crypto-native yield sources compressing, onchain capital is hungry for a new yield source. the hard part isn't the demand, it's the infrastructure
i see 3 main problems to solve:
-intelligent oracles for assets that don't trade 24/7
-atomic liquidation venues for illiquid collateral
-dynamic LTVs that protect lenders against adverse market moves
RWAs are ~5-10% of @Morpho's outstanding loans today (we're so early anon), and while looping may drive early growth, we are thinking much, much bigger:
-60% of Americans own stocks ($50k+ median)
-the avg American pays 10-12% apr to borrow against equities through traditional brokers
-stablecoin supply from a unified network of onchain lenders delivers rates 50%+ cheaper than what legacy providers offer
How? the DeFi Mullet
what we've built with @coinbase is replicable across every fintech, exchnage, broker, wealth tech platform, bank/neobank, etc. that wants to offer better rates to borrow against any asset
@Morpho solves the last mile problem for anyone to access the best financial tools for wealth-building
the TAM is hundreds of Trillions of $'s
you are not bullish enough

Arguably one of the most walkable streets in SE Asia is in Ubud, where you can find Old Friends Coffee which is one of the best coffee shops in the world. It's owned and run by a married couple who also own their own coffee farm near the volcano (Kintamani). The wife bakes a salty banana bread that I reserve in advance and they only make limited pastries on the day. Their matcha latte is always imported from their Uji suppliers and made with extreme dedication by the husband, who is also a master coffee maker. They also sell books and cute items from local artisans.
