@TheMonologist I’ve said it before but this was the A team and I read with these actors in my minds eye
English

@TheMonologist Oddly enough, after recent tragic events I went into your timeline to look up posts from earlier in the day. I would say a see about 25% of your content without searching. FYI
English

@TheMonologist It’s almost time. Wait until everyone else has gone to bed. Make sure anything I’ve got to do the next morning is in hand. And endulge in the yearly ritual.

@colder_sarcasm I drove 363 miles yesterday and sent more emails than that! Also did a site survey, had two virtual and two face to face meetings as well as the usual countless phone calls, messages and day to day admin coordination. No complaints. Just info.

@implausibleblog @ZackPolanski Labour is the Conservative Party pre covid. Your party is clearly militant tendency. Lib Dem’s have the best policies for the country but are too polite to shout about it. Conservatives and reform are reform. Greens are the Labour Party. Hope this clears things up to f*ck.
English

@ZackPolanski With Labour aping Reform UK rhetoric
With the Conservatives trying to become Reform UK
It's just the LibDems and Greens challenging Reform UK
And with the Greens doing it so much faster and better
Is it any wonder they're a bit flustered

@VinnieSull1van @Britains___Pubs @PubHistoryTours Those decrepit Docklands warehouses at 4:28-35 didn't look "spectacular", and there were miles of those along the Thames then. Apart from a few carbuncles like the National Theatre and the London Eye, the Thames has never looked better.
English

Videos like this deeply affect me. This is a short video of Dutch tourists in 1960 taking a Boat Trip Along the Thames when it still looked spectacular. They observe Cleopatras needle (sundial), which is 3 and a 1/2 millennia old, and, unlike so many other sights in these types of videos, still sits there to this day.

@Eyeswideopen69 @Roni56248402 Advocating the punishment of politicians who mislead the house sounds like a brilliant idea. Let’s start with Brexit.

Lying in the Commons?
Disgraceful!

Annunziata Rees-Mogg@zatzi
Why does the Speaker *never* reprimand Starmer - or Reeves, Lammy etc - for misleading the House?

@implausibleblog How do politicians get it so wrong. This joining in with the ECHR bollox is so reminiscent of Cameron shitting it over even considering a referendum. Weak.
English

Michael O'Flaherty, Council of Europe Human Rights Commissioner
Criticises Keir Starmer's Labour for trying to change the ECHR
"The ECHR is at the heart of the Belfast Good Friday Agreement"
"It's the golden thread running through it"
"The NI treaty is an International Treaty between two states"
"If one of them were to withdraw from the ECHR, the consequences would be devastating"
"It's not something you can renegotiate and insert something to take its place"
"I can't see a future of the agreement without the ECHR remaining at its heart"
