There is a high probability that the F-35 that Iran claimed to have downed, indeed has crashed in Saudi Arabia and did not reach the base as reported earlier. There appears to be an active search party over eastern Al Jubayl region:

Most likely, the American F-35 was hit by an Iranian loitering anti-aircraft missile from the “358” family (“Product 358”) or a similar system. Based on lessons from the 12-day war and previous conflicts with a technologically superior enemy, Iran developed a максимально simple and mass-produced air defense missile that can be assembled from three parts on-site and launched from almost any platform. Given the inevitable air dominance of the US and Israel, which suppressed Iran’s centralized air defense in a matter of days, these munitions allowed Iran to at least somewhat counter drones, and now even hit a modern manned fighter. Guidance of the “358” missile doesn’t require radar and is carried out using thermal and optical seekers, which is likely why the strike was successful, the F-35 pilot probably received no warning of illumination or launch. The only option is detecting the thermal signature via infrared sensors around the aircraft, but it seems in this case they either failed or reacted too late. Also, if it really was a “358,” that suggests the F-35 was flying at relatively low altitude, since these missiles are effective only up to about 6–8 km. It also explains why the fighter survived, the warhead is only about 10 kg. For comparison, the Pantsir missile carries around 20 kg, and Buk around 70 kg. Source: t.me/milinfolive/16…

The US and Israel have not gained complete air supremacy over Iran as claimed. This becomes clear when you look at the F-35 hit by Iranian anti-air fire. It raises questions about several things: 1) It seems the F-35’s stealth capabilities were defeated by advanced Iranian air defense systems. This is likely not ten first time, but rather the first time it has been reported. 2) Iran claims the engagement reflects significant and targeted improvements in Iran's integrated air defense systems. It is very likely that Russian radar technology and real-time intelligence sharing provided the eyes needed for this hit. 3) Russia reportedly delivered Khibiny-M electronic warfare suites to Iran as part of a deal for Shahed-136 drones. These suites can disrupt the digital coordination that U.S. fifth-generation fighters rely on, potentially making them more vulnerable to localized ground fire. 4) This raises questions about previous incidents. For instance, the IRGC claimed to have destroyed several American fighter jets on March 17, which CENTCOM immediately dismissed. Could they be lying? 5) Iran has successfully damaged U.S. communication and radar infrastructure across at least seven sites in the Middle East. This "blinding" of regional sensors makes it harder for the U.S. to maintain the "eyes" needed for total air supremacy. 6) At least 16 U.S. military aircraft have been lost or damaged since the conflict began. Was the incident in Kuwait really friendly fire? 7) The inability to gain complete air supremacy could be one of the reasons Israeli-American bombings have not been as effective as expected. There is reason to believe Israel and the United States do not have full air supremacy and have lost more planes and have run into more problems than expected or reported as a result

I talked to two Israeli sources on why Iranian launches continue to increase, despite US-Israeli claims that they have destroyed almost all of the launchers. Here is what they said: 1) The 90–95% drop in volume claimed by CENTCOM earlier in the month was probably a temporary lull as Iran repositioned its remaining launchers into hardened sites. Independent satellite analysis suggests that a significant portion of the "80% destruction" claimed by the IDF actually hit high-fidelity decoys. 2) Despite fewer launchers, the lethality per strike has increased. Iran's shift to cluster warheads has allowed a single missile to impact multiple locations simultaneously, compensating for the lower volume of launches 3) Iran has successfully set up mobile, underground units able to fire at steady rates. Iran used that quiet period to move their remaining ~100-120 heavy launchers into "Super-Hardened" facilities 4) Iran is utilizing its Zolfaqar and Dezful road-mobile launchers. These units move from hardened tunnels to pre-surveyed launch spots, fire, and return underground in under 10 minutes, often before coalition drones can re-task for a strike. 5) Because these launching units are decentralized, it is very hard for US and Israeli intelligence to get info on them. Israel and the United States do not have an answer to this problem. That is why they are trying escalation on energy sources instead. But that is backfiring.
