@sama I’m still using Claude on occcasions, but I have to say codex tends to just do it slightly better and gets it right more often. Still I think I prefer Claude on certain tasks, but that’s because I’m a developer I think. The general public would be much happier overall with codex

From how the team operates, I always thought Codex would eventually win. But I am pleasantly surprised to see it happening so quickly. Thank you to all the builders; you inspire us to work even harder.

@sama I haven’t written a single line of code in a while because I just think “what ls the point?” AI will just do it way better and think of thing I wont! It’s sad but also frees you up to create exactly what you envision and improve on it.

I am very excited about AI, but to go off-script for a minute: I built an app with Codex last week. It was very fun. Then I started asking it for ideas for new features and at least a couple of them were better than I was thinking of. I felt a little useless and it was sad.
