genuinely the competitive team should be fired, they realize valorant is dying, so instead of making it actually worthwhile to play ranked and giving decent ranked rewards, they just make it easier to get radiant 😭😭 comparable to slapping a bandaid on a cut off arm

I've spent the past 20 days pushing as hard as possible to improve at the game (VOD Reviewing every 2-3 days, Only queuing when I feel good, capping each day at 2 losses, consistent aim training 5-6 days a week) and somehow this is one of my worse acts to date. What do I do?

*obviously stats cant tell us the whole picture without a vod* based on stats alone: 1. Your KD being sub 1.0 for a Clove/Chamber/Yoru player means that you're not getting your "one". Llook back at your VODs and write down how you're dying without getting your pick, especially on agents that can TP out. 2. Your KAST (Kill, Assist, Survived, Traded) indicates that you're not actively involved or impactful in a lot of rounds. Try to see if you're slow to rotate, untradable, not trading, etc. 3. 30% headshot at this rank usually means that you're trying not to shoot unless you have a headshot lined up. Sometimes you just need to shoot the dude in front of you, even if its a body shot spray. Tt also suggests that you don't spam smokes enough, which is a free way to farm kills/dmg. 4. Your agent pool seems to be all over the place with the majority of your games being on Clove, Yoru, and Chamber. Try to stick to 1-2 roles and learn mastery in those. Obviously you can fill if needed but try to instalock agents like Clove or Chamber if they fit your playstyle 5. VOD reviewing is only helpful if you know what you're looking for. chances are, you dont know what you're doing wrong so your VOD sessions are wasted. Get into a call with an Immortal+ player and have them point out things in your gameplay. (I don't mind doing this if you want to DM me on discord) 6. A good way to VOD review by yourself is to pull up a pro player's ranked VOD on the same map and agent and do a side by side comparison. Open the Notes app and write down things you notice throughout the rounds. Why do they play certain areas? What timings are they taking? What gaps in the enemy's gameplay are they abusing? Do you notice a pattern? Make sure to understand the WHY behind their actions as it will help formulate your own thought process and build gamesense. Do the same for your VOD and compare it to the pros. What do you do differently? Why do you do it differently? 7. Most people that struggle in this elo don't even have bad aim, but rather bad movement. You have a lot more time in this game than you think, you can strafe and make people whiff all the time. 8. Play your deathmatches with INTENT. Dedi (dedication) peek common angles (slicing the pie) and abusing two-step-movement (you can silently move at full speed by pressing A or D for two steps). Practice swinging angles with the intent to kill. 9. Use your mic and just be a good person to your team. Ranked is 95% mental and team coordination. If you can keep vibes up while giving clear comms, your team will have an advantage most of the time. 10. Play to have fun. As stupid as it sounds, the more you "try", the harder the game becomes. Remember that it's a video game at the end of the day and mistakes are GOOD as long as you learn from them. Good luck, inferior version of @threeeFPS
