India clearly has the talent to build clean, fast, frictionless financial apps. Zerodha Kite, Groww, Jupiter, Slice, etc. exist. But if you open SBI YONO or some legacy bank website, it still feels like you are entering a mid-2000s cyber cafe portal to fight with your own money. These banks have deposits, licenses, trust, capital, distribution and decades of regulatory privilege. Still third-rate product. At this point, give the serious fintechs a path to banking licenses and let the people who understand software run the front-end of Indian finance.

Earlier most of the exams were conducted by separate bodies & universities had autonomy to conduct their own entrance exams.
For e.g :
JNU used to conduct their own entrance exams but now merged with CUET conducted by NTA.
CBSE used to conduct both JEE and AIPMT/NEET exams but now both are conducted by NTA.
i.e NTA conducting THREE MOST IMPORTANT CAREER DEFINING EXAMS.
That's a lot of POWER in one body.
If NTA is compromised then all three JEE, NEET and CUET exams are compromised.
Since NTA arrived, i have noticed many rich kids coming from political/bureaucratic background got admission in JNU while very few from unprivileged/poor background.
Why Gujjews brought NTA ?
To sell exams & make money ?
