2026 Topps Series 2 ASG Megas Decided to finally rip a case of Series 2 ASG Megas. I still believe this format provides the best value for S2, probably surpassed only by the Fanatics Fest formats. I have half a case of FF blasters on the way, so should be able to provide a little evaluation on those soon. The ASG Megas contain plenty of goodies. The biggest issue holding them back is the lackluster Series 2 checklist. Here were the results from my case: Autos- 2 (Ichiro 1991 All Star base, Andre Granillo Green Stars /99 Relics- 3 (Seiya Suzuki Real One Relic Foilfractor 1/1, Nolan McLean 1991 Relic Base, Machado Base MLM) SP/SSP- 2 (Glasnow Golden Mirror, Soderstrom Team Color Border) ASG Parallels: 174 total ASG Platinum 1/1- Gwynn All-Star ASG Red /5- Koufax All-Star ASG Orange /25- 2 ASG Gold /50- 5 ASG Green /99- 6 (incl Murakami) ASG Base (Print Run ~1,505 ea)- 101 ASG Base 1991 (Print Run ~3,160 ea)- 29 ASG Base 1991 All-Star (Print Run ~3,160 ea)- 29 Other Numbered Parallels: 12 Total Topps 75th foil /75- 1 Black /75- 1 Green Glove Work /99- 1 Blue Holo Foil/ 150- 1 Purple Holo Foil /250- 1 Yellow Holo Foild /399- 1 Gold /2026- 6 Other Unnumbered Parallels: 65 Total Aqua Holo Foil (PR ~165 ea)- 1 Aqua Rainbow Foil (PR ~375 ea)- 1 Pink Holo Foil (PR ~1,140 ea)- 5 First Pitch Pink (PR ~950)- 1 1991 Pink (PR ~960)- 1 Base Holo Foil (PR ~6,490)- 28 Base Rainbow Foil (PR ~9,220)- 28 Overall, this feels like a far better than average case. Two 1/1s, a Red /5 and an Ichiro auto are pretty solid. These provide a nice amount of ASG parallels (almost 9 per box) and the Base ASGs don't have a terribly high print run. Did I get back $1200 in value? Probably not. But I don't think we're too far off...maybe 60-75% depending on how deep i want to dig for resell stuff. Hard to gauge the value of the 1/1s and the /5, but they're not monster names. Reassuringly, they're not scrubs either, which would be highly probable from a random S2 1/1.
