easy ways to friends-maxx in 2026:
> call your friends and plan an impromptu dinner, karaoke, or coffee for the evening
> send a voice note or a text checking up on people (more often than not, people are struggling and would reciprocate)
> find 5-6 folks you want to do life activities with (grocery shopping, cooking, workouts)
> if you like someone's energy, make sure to keep bumping into them (plan outings, invite them over)
> host parties, game/movie nights, creative evenings at your home (even co-working)

Most of my socialization is not through planned meetups anymore. Generally if you ask for coffee with me, you're going to get ghosted. Simply too busy but the people I do hang out with are often just through Find My. I check every couple of hours. I notice that you're two blocks away from me and I'll just literally call you. It's that simple.
