As much as I would like to agree with you, political polarization has always existed. Just not to the extent that we feel today. With the advent of social media, information gets shared at light speed. Echo chambers have developed and entire platforms exist for the sole purpose of sowing discourse, division and chaos. If we look back at history, before social media, discourse and division still existed, but never truly manifested itself into one gigantic, coordinated voice. Honestly, I have no clue how to reverse the damage being done. We must respect our constitution and our freedoms that exist within its framework. Perhaps someone or some group will find a solution. Until such time, I will continuously champion civil discussion on social media and work diligently to keep my content as respectful and responsible as I can. Good day to you my friend.

If I agree with you, polarization started with Obama being nominated as the Democratic nominee for President, right? Why not before? 1- Same-sex marriage was a thing before Obama. 2- Transgenderism was being practiced way before Obama And so many other issues that you guys attributed to him and claimed that cause polarization. But the real issue here is not that. The real issue is that he is a Black man. Obama was the most diplomatic and pacifying President. Have you ever heard him spoke biles about his opponents? No.

@elonmusk @alx @springsteen It's really shameful that he felt compelled to throw his hat into the political arena. By doing so he's alienated half of his fan base. Really quite sad if you think about it rationally.

My apologies. I'm quite sure that President Trump's statement is mostly political theater. I can't fathom that he truly believes this notoriously corrupt, terrorist regime would ever agree to be a member of the Abraham Accords. The Islamic Republic's foundational doctrine is the complete annihilation of the State of Israel. For President Trump to suggest otherwise is careless and potentially insulting to our faithful ally, Israel.

NEW: President Trump announcing that he linked an expansion of the Abraham Accords to his ongoing negotiations for an Iran peace deal: “During my discussions on Saturday… I stated that, after all the work done by the United States to try and pull this very complex puzzle together, it should be mandatory that all of these Countries, at a minimum, simultaneously, sign onto the Abraham Accords. Those Countries discussed are Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates (already a Member!), Qatar, Pakistan, Türkiye, Egypt, Jordan, and Bahrain (already a Member!).” “Most should be ready, willing, and able to make this Settlement with Iran a far more Historic Event than it would, otherwise, be… If Iran signs its Agreement with me, as President of the United States of America, it would be an Honor to have them also be part of this unparalleled World Coalition.”

The problem is not the deal. I'm sure that whatever has been presented to the Islamic Republic is a solid, America first, proposal. The problem is believing that this notoriously corrupt, terrorist regime has fundamentally changed its character. We've watched for 47 years how this regime has manipulated past agreements and sown disruption and chaos across the globe. The problem, my friend, is the Islamic Republic itself. To think otherwise is reckless and dangerous.

A possible Iran deal is “95% complete” — but the final stretch may take days. U.S. officials say the plan would formally end the war, reopen the Strait of Hormuz without tolls, and eventually address Iran’s enriched nuclear material. Iran could see billions in frozen assets released and oil sanctions waivers — but only if officials say Tehran holds up its end of the bargain. | @TreyYingst

Polarization didn’t begin the day the current administration took office. Those vile 2012 comments from the Democratic Senate candidate were made under President Obama — and the divisiveness has been building for years under both parties. Blaming whoever holds power right now won’t heal the country or give our kids a better future. We reduce toxic polarization by calling out extremism and poor character on all sides, regardless of who’s in the White House.

The problem is not the "deal." The problem is the Islamic Republic. To believe they suddenly changed their character is reckless and dangerous. We've watched for 47 years how this corrupt, notorious terrorist regime operates. History compels us to confront the fact that, after a new administration takes over in Washington and shifts focus and priorities away from that region, this regime will disregard the deal and recommence with their jihadis hostilities. We cannot afford to be complicit about this truth.

Trump’s Iran deal approach is night and day from Obama’s disaster.  No more pallets of cash upfront. Iran must show real behavioral change before any sanctions relief. Zero tolerance on nuclear weapons. No trusting the terrorist regime.

It's been reported earlier today that President Trump and his team had indeed received a massive amount of pushback against the "deal" being negotiated. He took a much firmer stance towards the red-line items contained within the "deal." I genuinely applaud his quick pivot. Tells me he's paying attention to his loyal constituents. That being said, the Iranian delegation has threatened to walk away from the deal if concessions from the US are not forthcoming. Appears we may be back to a stalemate. Let's see what transpires over the next few days.

I'm sure President Trump and his team will make a great "deal". This is not disputed. My concern lies with WHO he's making this deal with. The Islamic Republic. In 47 years they have consistently proven themselves to be corrupt and untrustworthy. To believe that they have suddenly changed is reckless and dangerous. Consider what will happen after a new administration takes over in Washington and priorities shift from that region. In my humble opinion, history compels me to conclude that the Islamic Regime will revert back to its notorious cat/mouse games with a heightened sense of urgency. The problem is not the "deal." The problem is the Islamic Republic.

Pray for the dealmaker in chief to get it done! Trump: If I make a deal with Iran, it will be a good and proper one, not like the one made by Obama, which gave Iran massive amounts of CASH, and a clear and open path to a Nuclear Weapon. Our deal is the exact opposite, but nobody has seen it, or knows what it is. It isn’t even fully negotiated yet. So don’t listen to the losers, who are critical about something they know nothing about. Unlike those before me who should have solved this problem many years ago, I don’t make bad deals!
