Today The Washington Post closed its Seoul hub, where I was working as an assignment editor. We lost about a dozen journalists in that one moment, and over the last day or so we lost so many more. Hundreds of talented journalists, the best of the best. Darkest day of my career.

we have no consensus reality, there’s a crisis of credibility in mainstream reporting- we are even more susceptible to false narratives without good journalism. wapo had fantastic reporters. wish there was a way to keep it alive in a cooperative structure instead of destroying it
