@Hubert_Denski @amazingmap You cannot conclude from the plot, but (IF the data is correct) it's one of the 3 options above. One alternative: the data is not accurate. For instance, does the plot report cases per 100 k people under 50 (correct), or cases per 100 k (global population - wrong)?

@Hubert_Denski @amazingmap Those are diagnosed cancers rates, not cancer rates. Differences could be due to i) increased cancer rate, ii) better diagnosis, or iii) both.
