One thing Democrats can and should do is promise full investigations into anyone in the military who follows Trump's illegal orders in Iran. They can actually change behavior now by promising consequences later.

Imagine being the kind of person that hopes we would fail getting the pilot out of Iran. Imagine his fate had they caught him and being giddy inside because you could blame Trump. Now imagine you had this hope on Easter. I can only think of one word for that kind of human.

Donald Trump appeared on the view over 15 times before he announced his candidacy. All exchanges were friendly and encouraging with agreement. It’s amazing what a change in party, NOT policy did. The Democrat party has no moral values and stand for nothing, except winning. Even if it means throwing the country under the bus.

Until recently, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter were green card holders living lavishly in the United States. Afshar is the niece of deceased Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani. She is also an outspoken supporter of the Iranian regime who celebrated attacks on Americans and referred to our country as the "Great Satan." This week, I terminated both Afshar and her daughter's legal status and they are now in ICE custody, pending removal from the United States. The Trump Administration will not allow our country to become a home for foreign nationals who support anti-American terrorist regimes.

In 1993 a bill introduced by DEMOCRATS banning birth right citizenship was stalled in committee, also included: 1. Drastically cutting overall legal immigration levels from ~800,000 to ~300,000 annually. 2. Reducing family-based and employment-based visas. 3. Increasing Border Patrol staffing significantly. 4. Other enforcement measures including penalties for certain violations. What happened between now and then? NGO funding and corporate lobbying for slave labor.

Republicans in Utah are following a reckless national trend of using ‘election security’ as a pretext to make it harder for citizens to vote. Proof-of-citizenship rules and stricter registration requirements won't solve nonexistent problems - they only risk disenfranchising eligible Utahns.

No one “overrode” anyone’s privacy SB153 simply restores the public default for voter registration records that Utah had for decades and that federal law (NVRA) requires. Before this bill, nearly half of Utah’s voter rolls were marked private or withheld with zero justification. Candidates literally had blank slates: no idea who lived in their district, what their party affiliation was, or how to reach them. Parties couldn’t even identify their own members. That’s not privacy it’s blindness. Judicial Watch was preparing to sue Utah because our opaque rolls violated federal transparency standards. The Trump DOJ just sued us (and other states) for the same reason demanding full, unredacted voter lists. SB153 fixes that while keeping strong protections for truly at-risk voters (domestic violence victims, judges, law enforcement, etc.). Voters who qualify can still apply for privacy. Everyone else gets the open government our laws were built on. Campaigning, petitioning, and election integrity all improve when we actually know who the voters are. Transparency isn’t the enemy of liberty it’s the foundation of it.

Utah voters, if you opted-in to voter privacy, the legislature has decided to override your decision. Floor sponsor Trevor Lee’s justification? Candidates can’t campaign to blank voters.

Ogden Police Officers rescued a 15-year-old girl from an alleged kidnapping during a traffic stop on Harrison Boulevard. The traffic stop happened around midnight on April 1 after officers responded to reports of a reckless driver, according to the Ogden Police Department. During the stop, officers came in contact with the 15-year-old victim and the suspect, identified as 40-year-old Israel Ixcoy. kutv.com/news/local/man…
