@ictinus_x It is very easy. Turkey set the standard for airspace infringements on 24/11/2015. They shot down a Russian fighter jet which entered Turkish airspace near the Syrian border.
So, simply down any foreign fighter jet entering Greek airspace without permission.

🔹The geographic reality already exists. With over 3,000 Greek islands and islets, the Aegean is not an open expanse of international waters. It is, by nature and by law, a continuous Greek and European maritime domain.
🔹A 12nm territorial sea strengthens Greek sovereignty over its islands and surrounding waters, closes long-exploited legal loopholes, and reinforces the external maritime borders of the European Union.
🇪🇺Every additional nautical mile of Greek territorial sea is an additional nautical mile of EU external border - strengthening control over irregular migration, security threats, and resource rights in one of Europe’s most strategically sensitive regions.
🔹 Under UNCLOS and customary international law, a 12-nautical-mile territorial sea is a universally recognized sovereign entitlement. Greece has simply refrained from exercising it in full -for decades - under the explicit threat of Turkish military force.

Turkey is preparing a new "Maritime Zones Law" to codify its "Blue Homeland" that will grant the Turkish President broad powers to unilaterally declare an Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) extending up to 200 nautical miles and regulate all offshore economic activities. This, in combination with the Casus Belli that Turkey has on Greece in case it wants to expand its territorial waters from 6 to 12 nautical miles, is an unacceptable breach and violation of Greek and European territory and should be decisively rejected. Turkey’s expansionism and constant threats towards Greece are a menace towards all of our safety and must be tackled head on. The peculiar immunity that Turkey faces from the EU establishment must end and be replaced by a staunch opposition to their aggression and a powerful and uncompromising defense of Greece’s rights and safety The extension to 12 nautical miles is both a Greek and a European issue and it’s Ave Europa’s core policy that the extension will happen convincingly. Turkey is not a European country and must never be allowed in the EU under any circumstances.

Of course Türkiye has rights to claim maritime areas in the Aegean.
But the real question is: which areas exactly can Türkiye legally claim?
The answer is simple: only areas outside Greek territorial waters and only where there is an overlapping claim to continental shelf or EEZ.
Even under the most extreme hypothetical scenario, where a court gave the Greek islands no continental shelf or EEZ effect beyond their territorial sea, the area to be divided between the Greek and Turkish mainland coasts would still be limited to the three blue areas east of the yellow mainland-to-mainland median line.
That is the maximum theoretical claim, not the likely judicial result.

🇪🇺EU Faces Turkish Challenge to European Sovereignty Over Maritime Territory Grab.
Turkey is moving to codify its “Blue Homeland” doctrine into law, transforming an expansionist maritime strategy into official state policy. The move would amount to a direct challenge to the territorial integrity and sovereign rights of both Greece and the European Union in the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean.
The Blue Homeland doctrine is a revisionist geopolitical project that rejects established maritime boundaries and seeks to expand Turkish control across large areas of the region. By turning it into law, Ankara would openly contest the sovereignty of more than 150 Greek islands and islets in the Aegean, many of which form part of the EU’s external borders.
If Turkey enacts the proposed legislation, the EU will have no alternative but to impose sanctions and provide Greece with enhanced military support.

Since you blocked me you will read the answer here! When you invade Anatolia you did meet any Hittites! Those cultures lost in the Bronze Age. Anatolia became gradually Greek since Alexander the Great. So in 1453 you found basically Greeks, Armenians and Kurds in the south 🙄
