OUTRAGEOUS!!! Immediately after giving themselves a majority on committee and DESPITE promising they wouldn’t shut down investigations, what was the very first thing they did? Shut down an investigation into a $300 million scandal. Shameful.
Dan Mazier@DanMazierMP

BREAKING The Liberals just voted to SHUT OFF THE CAMERAS at the health committee’s emergency meeting on PrescribeIT. Conservatives moved to call in the Auditor General to investigate how $300+ MILLION was wasted on a failed program. The Liberals’ answer was to hide the discussion from Canadians and silence the opposition. What are they hiding?

Cheap energy globally is the single greatest way to raise people to better outcomes. It delivers food security among a host of societal benefits. Yet global elites are pushing a different narative.
Pierre Poilievre@PierrePoilievre

Energy is the lifeblood of an economy. Energy powers security. Energy defeats poverty. Let us liberate this energy and make our country the most autonomous, abundant, and affordable the world has ever seen: conservative.ca/cpc/more-canad…

CBC panelist just said Canadians are excited about Mark Carney getting closer to China because we’re fed up with Trump. We’re seriously talking about turning our backs on our largest trading partner to cozy up to a regime famous for censorship, total state control, and brutal human rights abuses. Canada are we okay? 🇨🇦 What am I missing here?

Mark Carney has been wrong about every major economic question of our time. - He predicted COVID would cause deflation - He supported carbon taxes - His Net-Zero Alliance is now bankrupt and shut down - He wrote we should keep 50% of our oil in the ground - He opposed the Northern Gateway Pipeline He is an expert at making exactly the wrong call every single time.

This is a total lie by Pichette & he knows that. He tells about four lies in the clip. I received an H1B visa in 1998 - the cap then was almost exactly what it is now - a little higher then. It was pre 9/11, there were more lottery cases accepted, & they were trying to really entice tech-savvy non-Americans. 65K for "Regular", 20K for "Master's" (meaning, in almost all cases, a Master's Degree for the applicant is required). The program is open. The program is accessible. Tons of Canadians are leaving Canada & getting to the USA through TN or H1B visas. Can you bring your family? Yes - your immediate family (maybe an ailing parent if you're handling their care). Can you bring your 5 uncles and aunts and all their kids and cousins? Weirdly, no - you cannot. It's not Canada from 2015 forward, it's actually a country that's more focused on having actual borders. So Pichette clearly went up there with the purpose to deceive - deceive, he did.
Ryan Gerritsen🇨🇦🇳🇱@ryangerritsen

While onstage at the Liberal Convention ex google senior VP Patrick Pichette outright lies about the U.S. & H1b visas. They are still available & yes they can bring their family. He also points to the immigration Minister & says whatever amount of people you think you should bring in, you need to TRIPLE IT. The Immigration Minister says “there’s a lot in my head”

Her OWN hometown paper just torched her. “Marilyn Gladu didn’t cross the floor. She HIJACKED our riding for herself.” 40,365 voters. Hijacked. 53.3% of the riding. Hijacked. An ~12,000 vote Conservative margin. Hijacked. Three months ago she signed a petition demanding by-elections for floor crossers. Today she’s a Liberal refusing one. Resign the seat, you thief.

Let me get this straight. You’ve been in power for ten years. You’ve doubled the debt. You’ve weakened the economy. And now, your answer is to trap young Canadians? On stage, the Liberal Party of Canada brings out Patrick Pichette, a former senior executive at Google, who now lives in Europe, to suggest that Canadians who want to pursue opportunities in the United States should face an exit tax of $500,000. Half a million dollars to leave your own country. This, from someone who once left Canada himself to build a career in the U.S. and paid virtually nothing to do so. So let’s be honest about what this is. It is not economic policy. It is not nation building. It is control. A government that has mismanaged the economy now wants to limit your ability to seek opportunity elsewhere. Instead of creating reasons to stay, they are looking for ways to make it harder to leave. You do not grow a country by locking people in. You grow it by giving them a reason to believe in it.

Wow. This is the most surreal exchange I’ve ever had in Canada’s Parliament. It’s obvious the Liberals are desperately trying to cover up what their blind allegiance to the UN’s 30x30 agenda actually means. Instead of refusing to answer questions, the Liberal Minister needs to stop deflecting and tell fishermen, their families and Canada’s coastal communities the truth.
