@timehero 2nd is there a way to block/placehold time for client work? For some clients, I don't know exactly what I'll need to do in advance but I know I'll need to be working on *something* for them for X hours on a day or week and don't want all of my time to get filled up

Hi @timehero, I want to erase my account but when I try to log in the only thing I can see is that I have to pay to get further. Where can I delete my account?

@BenAfia @Brian_G_Peters @SlackHQ Pretty much every work management/productivity school of thought generally has the idea of blocking time to allow for focus and good work. It’s communicating to others that just because you don’t have meetings you are actually busy and not open for disruption. Balance.

@Brian_G_Peters @SlackHQ Read Cal Newport's Deep Work and see if that shifts your perspective. I turn email and messaging off for hours away a time, especially when I have my head down on client work.

I've learned that if I keep email/@SlackHQ open throughout the day I'm constantly working in a "reactive" state. I.e., regularly checking for updates and incoming messages. If I close email/Slack for 1-2 hours at a time, I'm much more productive and generally less stressed.
