Firstly, corporate South Africa doesn’t take Bafana Bafana seriously. During a World Cup season that only comes every 4 years, Sandton is still full of formal wear… no Bafana shirts, no scarves, no regalia. Nothing💔 I played rugby, went to a proper rugby school, and we never even watched soccer🥲. Yet during rugby tournaments, schools we put up big screens literally everywhere and had our T shirts as and when we wanted😭😂 Please, let’s take Bafana seriously. Every Friday, companies should push people to wear Bafana Bafana jerseys and rally behind the country🙏

The suspect, a Dutch national from the Netherlands, was reportedly en route to Frankfurt, Germany, when he was intercepted by police at the airport. During the operation, police seized more than 40 kilograms of Khat concealed inside the suspect’s luggage. The drugs have an estimated street value of R240 000. The suspect is expected to appear before the Kempton Park Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 25 May 2026, on charges related to drug trafficking. The SAPS continues to intensify efforts to combat transnational organised crime and drug trafficking through intelligence-led operations at all ports of entry across the country. A security guard at Hayfields Primary School in Pietermaritzburg is being praised after he reportedly stayed behind long after his shift ended to protect two six-year-old learners allegedly left stranded outside school for more than five hours. The children had finished school at 12:30 but were still at the school gate at 18:00. The guard reportedly missed his own transport home while staying with the hungry and frightened children until help arrived. They were later taken to Alexandra SAPS, fed by Roman’s Pizza Hayfields, and eventually collected by a shocked family member. The school says it is now reviewing procedures to prevent a similar incident from happening again.

Dear Mark. I assume you are a Saltzman, founders of Dischem. I do not know who your mother is. I have taken NO MONEY from her. The @Dischem Foundation supported good causes led by my previous employer @Radio702 . They also sponsored the Brain of 702. It was a partnership with a commercial radio station. Did your mother want our souls in return?Did your family think that was money coming to me personally? What money did your mother give ME, Redi? And when did I meet with her? Is this what you discuss at family dinners? I am a big customer at Dischem and I assumed like any moral corporate citizen, the Foundation was set up for good deeds, not as a form of blackmail. Perhaps @Dischem foundation should have made it clear to 702 management all those years that it supported good courses in return for MY obedience and silence on Israel's atrocities and war crimes. I'd have told them to go fuck themselves. And unless you and your mother can prove here, publicly, that I, Redihentse Tlhabi, took money from her, then you can also go fuck yourselves. @RediTlhabi I wish we could boycott them. But I know it won't happen, primarily because most use Dischem to collect their medication. If we could show this people that we spend our money at their establishment and we wont tolerate disrespect, most of them would think twice before speaking
