Today was my last day at Google. I’m so thankful this little labs team took a chance on me and to @joshwoodward for all his leadership and shenanigans.
I’ve loved being a googler and I can’t wait to see what they build next, it’s going to be exciting!

Today was my last day at Vercel.
It was a hard decision. Vercel was not just a job. It was ZEIT. My first app, first deployment, first open source contribution. The dream opportunity to work with Next.js.
It was five years. Sweating over naming, mental models, progressive disclosure. Explaining, re-explaining, iterating. It was dozens of diagrams and videos, hundreds of docs, thousands of words, endless feedback. It was the tension between craft and speed. Hype, whiplash, and growth. It was for the web.
I'm thankful to Vercel for letting me be part of its journey, as much as it was a part of mine 🖤

Going to assume this is what I think it is picture wise… the original 4 buildings?
Fun fact. I had an office in building 2. Good memories.

Humans want a great website, but agents want the source of truth. The best documentation now does both. This is quickly becoming table stakes for Developer Experience and Agent Led Growth.
@studio_hungry and I just published a guide on making documentation readable by AI agents, which are now a first-class consumer of developer docs. If your docs are only optimized for browsers, you're forcing Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Copilot to reverse engineer a DOM tree. That wastes tokens, degrades retrieval, and leads to hallucinated APIs, stale examples, and worse DX.
The fix is straightforward:
Serve markdown.
Support .md endpoints.
Publish llms.txt and sitemap.md.
Include canonical + last_updated metadata.
Expose search and MCP tools.
Would love feedback from folks building docs platforms, SDKs, and developer tools.

@studio_hungry Is the idea that this would give you a weighted idea of what to prioritise?

One of the many dashboards ~~I~~ Claude have made, is an AI Correlation dash. Its goal is to show based on negative human feedback, and AI requests, are we serving shit to both agents and humans.
Naturally, error docs are a source of frustration and see high numbers, but being able to gauge the cross-functional impact of human pain and convey that to agents means we can adapt the docs to better serve our robot overlords and humans.
