"No, I don't subscribe to this 'kindness' - I'll tell the truth instead." I spoke at the Cambridge Union last night about LGBs, children's safety and women's rights. Full video here:

@kwalsh96 This is a perfect analysis. He goes for the best option almost every time, and if it he makes a mistake, he tries again for the best option next time as though nothing went before. Amazing.

We’ve seen it for years, but Finn Russell’s ability to shrug off mistakes and absolutely nail the next action is always astonishing.

@HJoyceGender @CaitlinPacific As an enormous fan, who listens to you speak, and constantly marvels at your clarity, accuracy and plain common sense, I was terrified that you were going to argue jam first and bring so many of my opinions into question. I should have known better. Queen.

@CaitlinPacific No!! The cream plays the role of butter, stopping the jam from soaking into the scone and making it yucky. IMOCO (in my obviously correct opinion)

@MattPpers @ZackPolanski Do you genuinely not know the answer to this? I would never dream of taking my daughters into the women’s. they came with me into the men’s, if they kicked off, tough, be a parent. Now that they use the women’s alone, I’m delighted there will be no men in there with them.

@ZackPolanski I want to know if I “should” (carefully and not intrusively) take my 4-year old daughter into the ladies when she throws a tantrum about the suggestion she might use the gents?! Can’t believe the EHRC is commenting on these nuances in a “you should do this” type of tone.

The Sex Matters team, board and advisors are formidable! These are some of them. Lord Hodge called Sex Matters submission “cogent” – which coming from the highest court in the land is high praise indeed.

@TightFive_Rugby Having seen so much bitching about this I’m delighted to read comments from actual fans. I think this is brilliant and I hope it finds a route to new fans.

@Scienceofsport @sportsscipod Speaks volumes for the podcast that the first thing I thought when I heard the news on the radio was - ‘I wonder what Ross thinks?’ Then hey presto, the answer came an hour later. Thanks chaps

Janik Sinner banned for 3 months. An emergency @sportsscipod Spotlight to discuss the settlement, and a case where tennis' credibility is the loser, but both parties may claim a kind of victory - Sinner for "inadvertent doping", WADA for strict liability: podcasts.apple.com/za/podcast/spo…

@salltweets The flip side Sal, is that had it not been you, someone else may have given up. The rest of the world will benefit from your strength, your unwillingness to give up, in 5 years your name will be on the wall with the women who said no. What a legacy for your daughter to look up to

On this day 5 years ago, February 7, my life was turned upside down because of men claiming to be women. 5 years. FFS😩 5 years on, men are still not women. Deal with it, boys. In another five years, after laws are changed, we’re going to look back on all of this &… giggle 😉

@Nettleshippy Massive disclosure row, looks like the NHS have been, shall we say, less than attentive to disclosure obligations so XX will be Monday now with some mad scrambling over the weekend to provide material.

@WG_RumblePants @bbctms It’s not one for me and not sure if they’re all commentators, it’s Johnners, CMJ, Trevor Bailey, Blowers, Aggers, Simon Mann, and Vic Marks - they’re just summer.

@surreycricket Crazy approach but what a final session. Congrats to Somerset, something special about two English spinners bowling out the best side in the country in fading light on day four. CC is so much better than the 100…

@JackRuleLD The Oval has the second largest capacity behind Lords, is always full, has an enormous catchment area in terms of people. This is the wrong target IMO.

Everyone always talks about Lords shouldn’t always get a test but Why should The Oval be guaranteed a test match every single summer, when there are other grounds that don’t get anything. That never gets talked about.
