📺 Today I spoke with @itvcalendar about Labour’s Bus Tax.
💷 The increase in the bus fare price cap, from £2 to £3, will hit those with lower incomes & those who already have the least.
🚌 It may lead to reduced passenger numbers, cuts to bus routes - particularly in rural areas, and undermines getting people out of cars onto public transport & our climate commitments.
