@rickygervais Ricky. Exercise doesn’t make you slim. It makes you hungry. Movement only accounts for burning about up to 15% or total calorie burn so you’re really only playing at the margins. It’s what you eat - not the calories but the make up.

I've been to the gym about 20 times this month, walked miles every day & I've only lost 1 Kilo. Baffling. I think it must be genetic. Or glandular. Or maybe it's all the bread & nuts & pasta & spuds & wine. I could cut down on food I guess. Or just take selfies from higher up 👍

@nicknorwitz BBB or BBC. Strictly speaking a BBQ can be carcinogenic and a microwave for a steak is worse than murder. Blue cheese or proper white cheese is excellent nourishment.

There is an Irish phrase I wish you all knew and used in the UK: “making a hames of something”. For example in the sentence “The BBC is making a fucking hames of this”. You can probably guess the meaning.
