@StevenACohen2 60 million per year for Kyle Tucker is beyond dumb. That being said not resigning Alonso is stinging even worse. Hopefully the prospects don’t suck too much.
@BTC_broo@SenWarren Even with the ratings being the best in late night cbs claimed they couldn’t get advertisers for his show. More viewership typically brings in more ad revenue but his show had a problem with that supposedly.
CBS canceled Colbert’s show just THREE DAYS after Colbert called out CBS parent company Paramount for its $16M settlement with Trump – a deal that looks like bribery.
America deserves to know if his show was canceled for political reasons.
Watch and share his message.
@stephenasmith I don’t understand why you have this take on Shedeur Sanders but a polar opposite on Bronny James. Both are good players, not great and were overhyped because of their father’s influence. Bronny is at least more humble. I guess you’re more afraid of Primetime.
@AFLCIO@UFTnypost.com/2024/12/05/us-… what is the Uft doing to stop our insurance company from limiting our anesthesia? This is dangerous for members and we need better coverage.
On this day 69 years ago, in a historic move that changed the course of the labor movement, the American Federation of Labor and the Congress of Industrial Organizations, the two largest labor federations, merged to form the AFL-CIO.
Happy Founding Day!
Thanks to our advocacy and 7th-grader Isaac Regnier’s gutsy petition, which had nearly 23,000 signatures, we have come to an agreement with the DOE that this year’s winter recess will begin on Monday, Dec. 23.
Israel has discovered 40 murdered babies. So far.
The deplorables who cannot bring themselves to condemn the murder of babies as barbaric are revealing themselves to be nothing short of barbaric.
The defenders of baby killers are perpetuating oppression under the guise of liberation and terror under the guise of resistance.
@clintstel@RitchieTorres Yes- after the UN plan there were wars brought on by Palestine and their allies. They lost and lost land. There are plenty of sources reporting the murder of babies and the numbers are only going up.
@Mets Last year was better with less money. Not everyone needs to try and rip a home run when they’re at bat. Baserunning was much better last year. And defensively you’ve just forgot how to play baseball. Going back to being the team hit by the most pitches may be the best offense.
@timmyring@KFCBarstool No one said it did but this thread was started by bashing a kid for speaking the truth in frustration. All he said was what you just acknowledged. It is possible to play better and get some lucky bounces. That’s actually exactly what happened with the Mets this series
I really cant get over Spencer Strider’s comments after the game. I mean talk about a Mental Midget. Citing BABIP like some analytic dork. Calling other pros lucky. Bringing up October when you never even played in Oct. Hey rookie, you stunk yesterday. And your own team K’d 19x😂
@adamjam99@KFCBarstool Not arguing that it isn’t lucky. It doesn’t change the fact that the Mets won 4/5 in the series. And it wasn’t the only play in the game that made a difference.
@timmyring@KFCBarstool Nimmo interfered with Adrianza on that play. Ump blew the call but he then grabbed his leg which is interference. Braves couldn’t challenge because interference is no reviewable in the base paths. I really can’t believe you guys are arguing a ball hitting a bag isn’t lucky lol
@adamjam99@KFCBarstool Things were really going the Mets way when Nimmo was called out at 2nd when he was clearly safe and then called out again on a bullshit call. Can’t blame luck on the Mets winning 4/5 in the series and striking out 19 times yesterday.
@KFCBarstool It happens. It was a regular season series in your park and the breaks (and umpires) went your way. You guys played better in every facet and got a huge 4-1 win in the series. General point is relying on soft contact, infield singles and lucky bounces may not be sustainable
@RichCimini Jets/giants fans consistently go to games as if the teams are good. The stadium is in NJ and owners split the costs of operation. At least giants fans got a couple of rings recently. I’m hoping that they finally got the GM/Coach combo right. Johnson doesn’t care about the fans.
Johnson on negativity from fans: "Been doing this 22 years. I’ve heard all this before, right? That shows they’re interested. There’s an acuity level of their interest. If they express themselves, I think that’s a positive, because that’s the way I feel, too. I feel their pain."
