Rather sobering piece on the potential severity of the fuel situation in Australia (esp re diesel).
One would hope it is at least a bit exaggerated, but if not….

remember in the 2000s when there was Kiwi music everywhere and bands breaking into the international scene after domestic success? that was driven by the Clark government's grants for those artists.
And cost heaps less than we're giving these ageing foreign rockers come here

With #wellington library reopening last weekend (closed since March 2019 for extensive EQC work) it made me nostalgic for my childhood library Ashburton library - photo from 1970. Its been replaced, but was fuel for my imagination!
