@Marie_Haynes Got one in niche IoT space that has seen similar pattern. The lift was across most of top content and pages, but oddly a press release from years back got a good bit of traffic too.

OK this is weird. Turns out there are a number of sites we monitor that saw changes in GA coincidental with the helpful content update. Most of them also saw significant changes with the product review update. Example 1: a medical product review site.

@Marie_Haynes @semrush Yes, been seeing some odd changes. EG. Used to hold pos. 1-3 for “riding boots” the post that won has now been switched out for our “kids riding boots” post and it’s moving up down a lot in position. However “best riding boot” query we still hold pos. 1 with other post. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yesterday's @semrush sensor showed some volatility - perhaps related to the ongoing Product Reviews Update? Anyone seeing significant ranking changes?

@rustybrick Anyone noticing ranking drops on categories that you have low/no inventory while seeing previously non-competitor sites appearing that do have inventory? Trying not to go down a rabbit hole but wondering if G is using inventory/supply chain issues into current algo.

@rustybrick Noticing a lot of domain crowding, eg: multiple Amazon results in SERP. Many times not the best eComm for product/audience. Also, lot's of mid-late Aug content not getting indexed. Have you seen/heard of that?

@rustybrick @glenngabe I've seen some properties organic to homepage surge last couple of days, looking at keywords in GA it seems the spike came from tafficnow or trafficguide. One is on hubspot and the other uses hubspot. Have either of you heard chatter on this?

@MarcoSuarez Got mine a few days after release. Had one or two things but dialed in now and running great! Chrome was glitch the first day but an update quickly pushed and not having issues with the external monitor. Sorry dude.

@rustybrick Yes. Had this for a couple of weeks now. Not totally loving — sometimes I want to modify the search to something else and the auto-suggest hijacks it.

I am now seeing the Google Suggest auto-populate feature that it was tested a few months ago - anyone else seeing it? seroundtable.com/google-search-…
