People rightfully pointed out we should have tried to talk to THQ about Gothic. Would have loved to. A few years ago we had a good relationship. There are cool people there. But ever since their Saudi investment billions fell through, communication stopped from their side.

Dodged questions (still does it to this day) about the port's technical problems and made false promises and never delivered. Very trustworthy !

For us the most important thing is that people can play on launch date and time. To achieve that we sent out copies earlier.
Gothic 1 Remake will need a download of around 5 GB on launch day and will then be fully playable offline - NO permanent internet connection is needed.

Cancel your pre-orders! Gothic Remake is unplayable offline. THQ is withholding this info from customers! No proper marking on the package. No notice on the store page. This was discovered through a copy of the game that was sent early by the official THQ Store.

@timurkhodyrev The Ukrainian community is quite large, we translated Chronicles of Myrtana: Archolos, Gothic I, Gothic II and would be happy to see at least subtitled localization in the remake. There is also a large thread on this topic on Steam.

@A1exTrask This is a question to the publisher first of all I think. But we did so with the Nyras Demo for example, where we added with a patch Ukrainian, Italian and Romanian text localizations. So we are always open to the cooperation with the community.

@timurkhodyrev You guys really need to get the optimization fixed before release. Dawnwalker is also using UE5 and has only 16gb ram recommended. If the game stutters on most machines, people will refund
