I just exercised my right as a Member of Congress to conduct an unannounced oversight visit of the ICE field facility in Baltimore. The staff I met with respected my right to visit, but what I saw was disgraceful. Kristi Noem has a budget of $75 billion she could use to ensure humane conditions, but we saw 60 men packed into a room shoulder-to-shoulder, 24-hours-a-day, with a single toilet in the room and no shower facilities. They sleep like sardines with aluminum foil blankets. Whether it’s for three days or seven days, nobody would want a member of their family warehoused there. The room set aside for dangerous criminals and violent offenders was empty. We’re demanding immediate answers and action.

You can’t possibly be this stupid, or maybe you can , because none of what you posted is true or even remotely comparable to destroying a wing of the White House. President Obama did not spend $2 billion on a website that didn’t work. The total cost of building the entire Affordable Care Act’s online infrastructure across federal and state systems was nowhere near that amount, and the federal site was fixed within weeks. President Biden did not spend $230 million on a bridge in Gaza. That’s a flat-out lie. The U.S. built a temporary humanitarian pier to deliver food, water, and medical supplies to starving civilians. The total humanitarian operation, including the pier, cargo ships, aid transport, and security, cost about $320 million. The pier itself was a small fraction of that total, and none of the money went to Hamas or Gaza’s government. And the convicted felon isn’t “spending $0” on a ballroom. He’s demolishing part of the East Wing of the White House, a protected historic structure, and that demolition and reconstruction cost taxpayers millions in security, logistics, and restoration work. Calling that “free” is just lying. Comparing Obama’s website or Biden’s humanitarian aid mission to tearing down a wing of the White House to build a vanity ballroom isn’t even close to the same thing. It’s a ridiculous false equivalence that only someone completely uninformed would make.
