Let me start this by saying, I love you all and this might be a little long! I hope this explains where I've been recently.🙏🥰🙏 So many of you have given me an outlook on life I never expected to have. I've always been sort of a loner, always protecting, always watching, always laughing, always learning, always praying. Many that see me probably don't believe the praying part, but the Big Man upstairs and I, have talked EVERYDAY since I was very young. He blessed me with a beautiful wife of now, 42 yrs. Hell, most of you don't even think I'm that old from what I hear. ROFL😜I have 5 children, 4 of which are daughters. I also have 8 grandchildren. Many might even know what I do, rather did, for a living. The stereotype of my industry missed me by 10k miles. I'm not typical by any means, as most that do know me, will tell you. I don't say that in an arrogant way, for many of you have humbled me beyond anything I ever imagined. I've always been so busy protecting, I never knew there was so much love in the world. Many also know why I started in this battle of good vs evil, because of all of those children I mentioned up there 👆. I have been in my industry for 43 yrs. and for the last 25 yrs. on my own with 4 different businesses. To say I'm good at what I've done all my life is a serious understatement. 👈That's me being arrogant. Just ask @tink2358. I just finished doing some work for her and her husband. The last thing I did before being forced to walk away. Let me explain. I have been absent for reasons beyond my control. In January I found out that the property we were renting for the last 13 years was stolen. It was willed to my now, ex-landlord. The man willing it, when dying, was taken by his children from his wife, who then got Power Of Attorney over him and took EVERYTHING from his wife and quick deeded the property to themselves and out from under my ex-landlord. Which all said and done, meant we were both leaving the premises. I haven't mentioned any of this really until recently, because Tink is active here and the last thing I wanted was a friend and customer, to be at all worried about the quality, or work yet to be done. So in short, I had less than 3 months to do and finish a complicated, AND BEAUTIFUL I might add, bit of work and move 25 yrs worth of business like we were never there. I've shopped around for a new place, but for 1/2 the space it now costs 3x as much. Now everyone also wants to do a Triple Net Lease, which to me is robbery and should be illegal, from a renters standpoint anyway....LOL If you're going to do that, just buy a place. Right after finding out about this and talking with him about it, my friend Scotty passed. That was very hard for me to accept at the time. Still struggling with it. In the last 3 months, on top of everything else this year, I've had 4 close friends die, with the last one shooting himself last week. At my age, starting over in a new place, from the bottom again, just isn't going to happen. I've been getting at it since I was 11 and closing my shop is like losing the best friend I ever had.😭 I'd like to apologize ahead of time for any lashing out, being an asshole, or just seeming crazy. Oh who am I kidding, I'm like that anyway. LOLOLOLOLOLOL 😜✌️ What I did for a living, BLEEDS MANY AVENUES FORWARD.
