@DCox68211798 @ryanhallyall I remember last year watching Reed Timmer on one of his tornado chases. He called the NWS office and told them that he had visual on a tornado that they had not yet issued a warning for.

@ryanhallyall I remember a tornado on the ground in Paduchah KY. The NWS evacuated thier offices BEFORE ISSUING A WARNING to the public. Ryan and team were on top of it, livestreaming and begging ppl to contact anyone they knew. NEVER trust the government to keep you informed.

I know Yallcall is still making the rounds and some people in the weather space are upset about it. Yallcall happened because my audience literally asked for it. Every stream. 'Just call me when it's bad.' We partnered with a company that's done this for 20+ years to make it happen. Tons of people are already signed up and I'm proud of it. This is the last time I'll address this. I'm disappointed in some of what I've read from people in the weather community but my goal has always been to protect life and property, and that's not changing.

@ryanhallyall Many folks in my area have had NO warning from local weather forecasters nor NWS for tornados. If your Ya’ll Call can be as hyperlocal as claimed, it will save lives. Tune out the haters! Those of us in Dixie Alley need all the help we can get.

I had a nurse call on a Saturday and tell me a visit was scheduled for the next day and what time would be ok. I told her nope, don’t need or want someone in my house. I can still get to the doctor.

This is interesting. Have you experienced these kinds of questions at the doctors office?
