@Jobvo has built remote teams for almost a decade, from @gitlab to @remote. Our best learnings: 1- Early Gitlab: "We started remote bc that was the only practical thing. Open source communities had always worked fully distributed. We quickly learned there were no downsides."

10- Status games & self-expression: "Clubhouse has robust niches...there's a club for people investing in vintage sealed video games. I don't think the market's bigger than us." "Who is in that club? The product could be awful, but if the cool kids are there, you'll be there."

9- @SlackHQ's SlackConnect: "Anybody that's ever downloaded Slack can chat with you directly in Slack. I added my high school best friends. I usually have my Slack open; I text friends when I get bored and Slack colleagues when I need to. Now it's all in Slack."
