@IanCameron23 @SAPoliceService @solidariteit @ActionSocietySA As someone who lives in Paarl and has witnessed first hand a lot of white on black racism here, and the heavy-handedness of local security and (white) police, I think we should listen to understand a little deeper when someone of her experience says something like this.

This is Brigadier Nokuthula Pete. She is the current station commander of the South African Police Service station in Paarl in the Western Cape and made it know on Facebook in December that she believes SAPS in Paarl is 'too white' when she encouraged someone to apply for a transfer to Paarl that she promised to sign off. I think she should be made famous and FIRED! Brigadier, colour, creed or culture has no role to play when fighting crime. It is simply about getting the job done! You make the rank of Brigadier cheap. You need to go!
