COACHING HOT BOARD: 1. Dan Hurley: has stated that K-State is the most prestigious job in the country, is he ready to make that jump to the big leagues? 2. TJ Otzelberger: not the best tournament resume but has done a good job at a mid major program. Could have promising potential with top level resources. Would finally be able to afford proper fitting polos. 3. Bill Self: over the hill a bit but still some gas left in the tank. 20+ years of experience with paying players makes him a prime candidate to succeed in the NIL era. Has been quoted saying “it’s a great day to be a Wildcat”. Something to watch.

@Stanimal032 Man, middle school?! It feels like it was just yesterday he was born! God speed, Mr. B! Keep being the example, and showing the entire world what’s humanly possible!

Life Update: Brody's leg surgery that we originally had planned over Thanksgiving is a go in March. This year is going to be a tough one for us all, so please pray for us as we navigate this. They are going to start the process of straightening his legs with the hope that it will give him some increased independence and function. We will be seeing a specialist in Florida for the operation. They will do one leg first in one/two operations, depending on the extent of the surgery. B and Mama will have to stay in Florida for an entire month as H I travel to/from Kansas during that time to keep her in school and try to keep my practice running. Then, 12 weeks later, they will repeat the process for the other leg. Another 1-2 operations, another month in Florida, and another few trips for H and me back and forth during the summer. B will spend a good amount of his last year of elementary school in a hospital and a good amount of his summer break in a hospital as well, but we are hoping to have this all finished before he starts middle school in the fall (How the F do I have a middle-schooler already?!). Please pray for my family - particularly B. We will need it this year. I know my prayer warriors will come through for us as they always have. Trusting God to get us through this and hoping for extraordinary results and healing on the other side.
