Ever wonder when grownup journalists started talking like eight year old boys, about "good guys and bad guys"? Robert Parry offers a powerful piece of recent history: ahttps://consortiumnews.com/2023/02/03/the-victory-of-perception-management-3/

I just subscribed to Aaron Mate--I've been admiring his reporting for years--don't know why it's taken me so long--absolutely the best reporter out there on US foreign policy. mate.substack.com/?utm_medium=we…

@aaronjmate Disappointing to see this from Aaron, who has been so sharp on Dems’ murderous foreign policy—problem is not just Biden, who can’t finish a sentence, but his team—Susan Rice, Samantha Power, et al—world savers who start wars they can’t finish

I’ve said Biden needs to earn Left vote, e.g. w/ M4A. But we have to be sober: Biden will likely cause less death/suffering than Trump. And unlike Trump, Biden could be pushed to do some decent things if we stopped defining political engagement by who we vote for every 4 years.

@DougHenwood It's interesting that you have nothing to say about Gabbard's actual policies, which distinguish her as the only Democratic candidate who presents a serious challenge to US imperial hegemony--and which ensure that she'll continue to be excluded from the debate.

@tjlears Excellent article! I had you as a professor in college, and you fundamentally altered my understanding of history. You helped my critical thinking skills leap forward. Reading this essay, I remembered some of your lectures.
