Looks like the #CaldorFire is almost at the Lake Tahoe airport. It’s spreading much faster than I expected. I‘d be surprised if the Nevada side wasn’t evacuated this morning. Stay safe, everyone.

@first_arnold Douglass County on the Nevada side is still just an evacuation warning at the moment, no official order to go yet. (I’ve got family there who relocated after the California side was evacuated yesterday morning.)

Watching the Caldor Fire get closer and closer to South Lake Tahoe. Thankfully my mom got out with the evacuation order this afternoon, but it’s heartbreaking to watch. 😢

Turns out the FCC’s info update form does a case-insensitive compare before writing fields, so now half my address is uppercase, half isn’t.

Trying to get the FCC to change my name in their database from ALL CAPS to Title Case. First attempt just made it worse. -_- #ocd
