Crysis 1 got competition and lost (in some ways) already in 2008 (Clear Sky, Far Cry 2, Warhead). By 2010 many games looked better. By 2013 almost all games have higher fidelity.
Starfield and Borderlands 4 body Crysis 1 in fidelity.

One by now runs on a potato the others will lag on a super computer, with little improvement on graphical fidelity. I'm being only a little dramatic, personally I care about gameplay more, I enjoy ps1/2 era games.

Frame Gen is great in many games especially if you are looking for high refresh rates.
