People don’t understand the OT disagreement.
It is that Pick 9 is a PREMIUM pick. A pick the Chiefs will probably never have with Mahomes.
Using that pick on dubious RT prospects over an Edge or WR is the main issue.
Max I, Miller, Proctor at Pick 29 for RT? That’s fine.

Most drafts the best players at those positions are within striking distance of the KC pick, KC is almost never in the running for a top 2 edge or WR.

I get that Patrick Mahomes is coming off an injury & Jawaan Taylor was cut, but OT is far from the biggest priority for the Chiefs.
Getting Bain, Bailey, Tate or Lemon at 9 can go a long way to helping Kansas City’s retool.

If the Chiefs are going to upgrade their secondary, they’re going to do it with the method we are familiar with. Spags depends on a stud safety, and this team didn’t have it in 2025.
Despite having McDuffie and Watson, we still gave up far too many third downs.

@toddalator @dkraigcarter I like my approach.... I don't watch college ball at all, so I'm excited when the Chiefs draft guys, then I learn about them and watch how they play. I remember people were so mad when we drafted guys like Mahomes and McDuffie. I never get mad bc it's all literally a crap shoot

I hate this. It's not about the percentages. Its being run illegally. Its being defended illegally. Its being officiated poorly.
Its a bad play thats badly executed and badly officiated that is determining game outcomes. Get rid of it for THAT reason.
