The overtime/SO loss in the NHL is a funny rule. The @penguins have 16 loser points; 37 wins and 37 losses and will comfortably make the playoffs. The @NJDevils have 2 loser points ; 38 wins and 35 losses and have already been eliminated from playoff contention. The @GoldenKnights have 16 loser points; 33 wins and 42 losses and will comfortably make the playoffs. The @NHLBruins have 8 loser points ; 42 wins and 32 losses and currently in a dog fight to make the playoffs 50-50 chance. Is the @nhl REALLY putting the best product forward? Or is there a way to make the Stanley cup playoffs even MORE competitive?

Are we not deciding games properly in the playoffs?

The NHL is a big 4 sports league, the CHL and KHL aren’t… you have no argument other than it affects my team so no it can’t be like that 😂

@tolear1158 @UKhoops1_BBN @CharlieBorgesJr Also you say they copy the NHL when many of those leagues (plus the IIHF) use the 3-2-1-0 system, which keeps the loser point and puts even more emphasis on regulation wins Plus the NHL wasn’t even the first league to use the 3v3 OT format You just keep exposing yourself my guy

@tolear1158 @UKhoops1_BBN @cj225devs @CharlieBorgesJr @DevRickus There’s also a reason you had to go look for other sports btw The KHL, SHL, CHL, NCAA, etc, all hockey leagues that are actual equivalents to the NHL with their OT formats actually do hand out a point if you lose in the Mickey Mouse format

Or go to whatever the equivalent of a shootout is in those sports (home run derby? Slam dunk contest?) Also did you finally realize your math was off and delete the tweet 😭😭😭

They realize regulation ain’t the same as OT/SO 2. Check your math again on that record. You literally have them at 83 games 😭
