@Soarpoints Hi, no I was at Willesden High. I don't recall that memorial or any memory of the past history of the school at all tbh. It was a long time ago granted and the memories have faded over time.

@Soarpoints @RawlinsPenny @HarrisFed Hope you don't mind the intrusion. I'm a former WHS Pupil between 1983/4-7. Never heard of Old Uffingtons association tbh, but the Pound Lane site/buildings screamed grammar school. Then we moved up to the Doyle Gardens site. And everything changed, as did we..

@RawlinsPenny Yes / there is a rather curious memorial to the old school and I got a taxi home with an ex Willesden High pupil tonight - he was in first year of CCA he said. They both have echoes of the past. Now @HarrisFed carries the torch
