A brief exchange of fire took place between the Delhi Police and criminals in the Nangloi area, in which three criminals were injured While speaking to ANI, DCP Outer Sachin Sharma stated that two days ago, the same group was involved in a hot chase during which they opened fire on the police party. The staff retaliated, but the accused managed to escape at that time. Today, when the police team challenged them, they again opened fire, prompting the police to retaliate. In the ensuing encounter, three out of four criminals were injured and later apprehended. All injured accused have been shifted to the hospital for treatment

#WATCH | Delhi: DCP Outer Delhi, Sachin Sharma, says, "On the 22nd October, the night patrol staff identified a suspicious Honda City, and a hot chase ensued to try to catch them. Near Madhuban Chowk, the suspects fired at the police, who returned fire, reportedly hitting one of the accused... Later, information about three suspicious men in a specific area led to a search operation. When challenged, the suspects fired, and in the ensuing exchange, all three sustained bullet injuries and were apprehended. Interrogation is ongoing. All three have prior criminal records, with one having over twenty cases and another over forty, including offences involving firearms, kidnapping for ransom, armed robbery, and dacoity. A total of four individuals were involved in the incident; three have been successfully apprehended, and efforts are underway to apprehend the fourth."
