When the cause of neck pain is not in the neck . This elderly man was evaluated with multiple MRI scans and CT spine imaging for severe neck pain After 2 months , he approached us for a diagnosis

@MicieliA_MD It is opposite in India. We Neurologists request the GPs to refer patients to us without a cocktail of prophylactic medicines. Many patients get multi prophylactics without clear rationale and when they end up to us, first treatment from our side is to taper them all.

Common referral to #neurology (I see 3-4 patients similar to this every clinic) 30M has significant headaches 3-4x per month, each lasting 2-3 days. There is photophobia, phonophobia, nausea and they are worsened by activity. No positional component or red flags.
