Reports downstairs from @bradeningram on @abcsport that there are concerns over a nerve issue from the buttock to hamstring by for Connor Rozee. Could be a shorter return timeline than a hamstring if so…

@asim_lfc Massive reality check coming next season for this squad when they are playing on Thursday nights in the middle of fucking nowhere against farmers.

@ChloeBloxam A doubt? It’s not happening…. We will be 6th with 7 games to play and have the hardest run in by far with a decimated squad.

@DaveOCKOP So who is to blame? Slot? The players? It’s a total shit show.

That Mitoma run alone is a snapshot into the problems going on at the moment. We are simply not willing to put our bodies on the line or fight as hard as our opponents for 90 mins. It's as simple as that.

@SamueILFC What will it achieve? If you think a change of manager fixes this mess then you are in dreamland. The players are an absolute disgrace. He has to go, however we aren’t saving a single thing this season with these players.

We can still sack Arne Slot btw. It’s not too late to save the season before the international break.

First question to potential attacking players this season… ‘Do you run in behind?’ If so, sign them. #LFC

@AnfieldRd96 Not hard is it? MacAllister is in concrete boots and Gravenberch has been bang average for 40 games now.

@LFCLaurie Did you expect anything different off a 2 day break and without Alisson, Salah and now Ekitike? We are shit and given the circumstances today, we were always going to cop a hiding.

@TheKopHQ No fresh legs…. Would have thought Jones, Rio and Robbo were nailed on to start. Going to be super tough to get 3 points given Frimpong, Ekitike and maybe a couple others only have 60-65 in them max based off Slots press conference.

@asim_lfc based on the press conference- Slot mentioned Hugo, Szob had cramp and Frimpong can’t play 90 and Gomez can’t start. Surely he starts Curtis and then brings on Frimpong or Gomez at 60? He refuses to rotate so nothing guaranteed, however we need fresh legs more than ever today.

@ptgorst So it is a new injury? Pretty embarrassing for the club that Brazil put a statement out within an hour and we have not heard anything 24 hours later.

⚽️ Patience has finally snapped at Anfield #LFC 🆚 #Galatasaray | #UCL #ChampionsLeague This has the unmistakable feel of an ending, not a blip, not a dip, but a slow unravelling that now plays out in full view. Liverpool are not merely struggling, they are a side without urgency, without clarity, without the conviction that once made Anfield a place of dread for visiting teams. The draw with Tottenham has done something deeper than cost two points. It has shifted the mood. Those who preached patience now murmur about change. You can almost hear it echoing around the ground, in that familiar, rueful refrain, (in the booming tones of Adele) ... 'hello from the other side'. The benefit of the doubt has run dry. There is a softness to this team which invites trouble. Opponents don't fear them, they study them, wait for them, and then pick them off. The football is slow, predictable, devoid of invention. Chances are scarce, control is absent, and when pressure builds, Liverpool buckle. Late goals conceded aren't misfortune, they're now an institutional habit. The troubling part is that it all feels coached, or perhaps uncoached, a plan that asks the game to bend rather than shaping it with authority. Players regress, patterns never arrive, and responsibility meanders. Even the language around performances strains credibility against the evidence of the eye. And yet, tonight offers that familiar, dangerous hope. Anfield under lights, a deficit to chase, a season hanging by a thread. Liverpool should have enough to turn this around. They may even do it. But beyond that, harsher truths await. 🔺 Predicted XI: Alisson; Szoboszlai, Konaté, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Mac Allister, Gravenberch, Wirtz; Salah, Gakpo, Ekitike 🔺 Prediction: Liverpool 3-1 Galatasaray (3-2 agg) - Liverpool progress, PSG await, and likely deliver a brutal reality check
