@errordeveloper @monkchips For transparency, I’m a cyclist, I have a sports car, and a race car. Both ULEZ compliment. Should they be, no they shouldn’t, but they are. Does it personally impact me, no, not at all. Do I drive them fast on roads no, on the race track, yes.

@errordeveloper @monkchips Hopefully I have illuminated why there is some opposition to ULEZ, which is easy to fob off as toffs on the outskirts being inconvenienced. Yes we need to reduce congestion, emissions and make our roads safer for all. But blanket policies and simplified views don’t always work.

@monkchips @errordeveloper Ain't that the truth! 1 hour walk to the closest bus stop is sad (8 busses a day), but TFL or Kent County Council cant't justify the cost due to low population density.

@monkchips @errordeveloper Although I do support LTN's and ULEZ should be stricter in zones 1-3 for sure! But blanket policies do not make sense always.

@monkchips @errordeveloper Having moved out of London (but close to Bromley) we have no Bus service, no safe cycle lanes (50+ mph) and the closest shops are in a ULEZ zone. It doesn't make sense to enforce it in Semi-Rural parts of London. Especially for those whom cannot afford to get a compliant car
