Going to the gym is nice but if you’ve managed to do it for six months/a year and still hate it then it might not be the right thing for you or you might need to change your approach. You’re not in bondage. You SHOULD enjoy the thing that is meant to make you feel good/healthy.

we have a rule in our house that children don’t get out of bed/come downstairs until 9 am to ensure they are well rested and spend time with their thoughts first thing. never fails me!

@nickcammarata you tweet a lot about how you’re constantly forgetting shit as if it’s a normal stage of the meditation path and I find it quite weird

i stopped hating myself and realized i actually really like my emotions and i keep being so surprised at how much i enjoy them??? like over the past couple days i’ve been finding so much enjoyment in my anxieties..? that’s really weird and a bit confusing to me because i always just would immediately push them away and shame myself for it, but it turns out maybe there was a big enjoyable component to it too?? idk still figuring it out
