Michelle Obama on the passing of Rosalynn Carter:
"When our family was in the White House, every so often, Rosalynn would join me for lunch, offering a few words of advice and always — always — a helping hand. She reminded me to make the role of First Lady my own, just like she did. I'll always remain grateful for her support and her generosity.
"Today, Barack and I join the world in celebrating the remarkable legacy of a First Lady, philanthropist, and advocate who dedicated her life to lifting up others. Her life is a reminder that no matter who we are, our legacies are best measured not in awards or accolades, but in the lives we touch. We send our thoughts and prayers to Jimmy and the entire Carter family during this difficult time."

A mother has written a touching note to the teenager who taught her daughter how to use her skateboard and it’s now gone viral:
"Dear teenage boy at the
skate park:
You’re probably about 15 years-old, so I don’t expect you to be very mature or for you to want a little girl on your skate ramp for that matter.
What you don’t know is that my daughter has been wanting to skateboard for months. I actually had to convince her that skateboarding wasn’t just for boys.
So when we walked up to the skate park and saw that it was full of teenaged boys who were smoking and swearing, she immediately wanted to turn around and go home.
I secretly wanted to go too because I didn’t want to have to put on my mom voice and exchange words with you.
I also didn’t want my daughter to feel like she had to be scared of anyone, or that she wasn’t entitled to that skate park just as much as you were.
So when she said, 'Mom it’s full of older boys,' I calmly said, 'So what, they don’t own the skate park.'
She proceeded to go down the ramp in spite of you and your friends flying past her and grinding rails beside her.
She only had two or three runs in before you approached her and said 'Hey, excuse me …'
I immediately prepared to deliver my 'She’s allowed to use this park just as much as you guys' speech when I heard you say, 'Your feet are wrong. Can I help you?'
You proceeded to spend almost an hour with my daughter showing her how to balance and steer, and she listened to you – a feat not attained by most adults.
You held her hand and helped her get up when she fell down and I even heard you tell her to stay away from the rails so that she wouldn’t get hurt.
I want you to know that I am proud that you are part of my community, and I want to thank you for being kind to my daughter, even though your friends made fun of you for it.
She left the skate park with a sense of pride and with the confidence that she can do anything, because of you."

In this incredible video, Jon Stewart challenges Republican Senator Nathan Dahm from Oklahoma about his proposal to ban drag show readings for children. Stewart questions Dahm about the implications for free speech and challenges him to explain what he is trying to protect. This astonishing clip exemplifies just how to dismantle Republican hypocrisy. You should definitely watch it, it's truly amazing. #WeAreBlue1 #wtpBLUE

“This is Jesse, he is a drifter who lives near the bridge in my area. He owns nothing but a bike, a bird and a bag of about 10 items!
Yesterday, while I was riding my bike down around the beach – which is about 3 miles from my house – I got a flat tire. I had no choice but to turn around and wheel my bike the long walk home.
A few people rode past and didn’t really pay me any attention and I didn’t expect them too, but as I started walking, headphones in my ears, I noticed the homeless guy from under the bridge saying something to me.
At first I thought he was going to ask me for something so I popped my headphones out and asked him what he wanted? He then replied “I don’t want anything- but I’ve got a new tube in my bag and you can have it if ya want!”
Shocked at first I said no thanks but he insisted. So I walked over to his little clearing where he had his things and his pet bird sat in a busted cage.
He opened up his empty bag and gave me the tube (which was one of the very few things he had) helped me change the tire, even pumped it up! I asked him how I could pay him back and he said to me “don’t worry about it, this is what it’s all about!”
The enormity of his situation and the fact that he went out of his way to help me was so humbling, I mean this guy was willing to give me his stuff and didn’t want anything in return. To you and I, a bike tube would probably not mean much but to a guy with so little this item must hold enormous value!
I could go on and on about how selfless this guy was to give me, a total stranger, clearly in a much better position than him some of his possessions, while people like us are so selfishly attached to all our useless crap.
Anyway I just wanted to show you a pic of Jesse with his new Versace lenses, some fresh Sneakers, a full belly and a cold beer… Felt good to do something for him. I also went up to our local fast food chain and got him a couple weeks worth of food and some seed for his bird…
Man he was ecstatic even had tears in his eyes and couldn’t thank me enough, but amidst me sitting there proud of my good deed, and him singing me praises, I suddenly felt pretty bad because the truth is if he didn’t go out of his way to help me, I wouldn’t of done anything for him.
I ride past this guy all the time and never even think twice!
Really knocked me off my high horse!
Even tho we sit around with all our materialistic needs and pass judgment, this dude has something that none of us can buy!
I guess what I’m trying to say is thanks for the lesson in humanity champ!”

Why is Piers Morgan as well as some Americans and Canadians so upset about this photo of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau with his son Xavier, wearing pink?
Who cares? Men can wear pink. If you are afraid to wear pink I’d say you might be the one with the problem. Seeing a father and son together going to the movies should be praised. The color of their outfits should be ignored. Get a life. Goto the movies and wear pink, be daring or something. Getting angry about it on social media says more about you than them.

It’s not only that the Republicans were wrong about Ukraine and Russia, but just how breathtakingly wrong they have been in the face of undeniable evidence.
They bought and then sold Kremlin propaganda hook, line, and sinker.
They fought against American and western interests, eschewed the analysis of our military experts and rooted for Ukraine’s downfall.
Meanwhile, President Biden formed an international pro-democracy coalition and never wavered in his support of Ukraine. And for pennies on the dollar, he has weakened one of our greatest foreign adversaries, perhaps beyond repair, without putting at risk the life of a single American.
It’s been an absolutely historic stroke of strategic brilliance.
And while Republicans try to weaponize Kremlin propaganda to attack Biden as a war monger, they neglect the fact that he is overseeing a extraordinary time of peace for the United States. He dared to do what no other president before him was willing to do and brought our troops home from Afghanistan.
Republicans also used Kremlin propaganda to accuse Biden of neglecting our needs at home, while he gave aid to Ukraine. Meanwhile, the GOP voted against Biden’s historic investments in the US. Transformational change is underway with the passage of the CHIPs Act, the Infrastructure Act and the Inflation Reduction Act. Experts are calling this “manufacturing investment supercycle” the envy of the world.
Biden protected our veterans’ healthcare with the PACT Act as Republicans fist-bumped after voting against it.
Biden fought and continues to fight for women’s bodily autonomy, while the GOP celebrates stripping it away one year ago.
And Biden delivered for unions workers, aiding them in negotiations as he kept the supply chain open and the American economy thriving, delivering six times more jobs than the previous three Republican presidents combined.
All this, and Republicans still want to reject reality. They want to use Kremlin-style disinformation techniques and launch politically-motivated investigations into their perceived enemies. They have no interest in helping the American people. They just want to live another day on their cult leader Donald Trump’s good side. They strive to dismantle American democracy and take away the rights and freedoms of everyday Americans.
This contrast in leadership could not be greater. History will judge where you stood at this moment.
We stand with the United States. We stand with democracy. We stand with reality. We stand with the free world.

Republicans think that they won last night.
They did NOT win!
Here's a video of a 'Covenant Mom' embracing expelled Tennessee Rep. Justin Pearson.
- Make sure this video goes viral.
- Make sure everyone knows what this man stood for and what Republicans stood against.
- Make sure you never forget what happened last night in Tennessee and 9 days ago in Nashville!
THANK YOU Tennessee Three!
