Being self-employed in germany is the endboss. If you can make it here you can make it anywhere. I pay: - 35-40% tax - 1.300€ in health insurance / month Every. Single. Month. Paying for health insurance is like renting a second flat that i never use. This is a ton of pressure for smaller entrepreneurs on top of all the bureaucracy you have to tackle. And no the healthcare system is not as good as you think.

@reijowrites +1, haven't got a legit lead this year from dribbble, but maybe it starts picking up on Q2.

At the same time 19 out of 20 new inquiries I receive on Dribbble are largely or entirely unintelligible slop, not an actual brief. It's basically like reviewing your spam folder on Gmail.

NOOON has been fully remote since day one. This week I'm ordering furniture and materials for our first physical office space. I never needed an office to run this business. But there's something about having a physical space that feels more intentional. A place to think, create and host some small meetups while building NOOON and future ventures. Not every business needs one, but this one is ready for it.
