Recent Republican losses get blamed on bad candidates and low turnout. Democrats run terrible candidates all the time and still turn out voters in huge numbers. Why? Because their voters believe every election is life or death. Republican voters do not feel that urgency. #Affordability does not feel like a crisis. #Border chaos and crime feel like a distant problem. So voters stay home. When we control #Washington it is even harder to create a sense of #crisis. No urgency means no turnout. No turnout means losses we should never take. If 2026 is run on polite policy talk, we will lose seats we should win. Voters move when their paycheck, their kids, their safety, and their future are at stake.
