@MayMayspeaks You screwed up the riddle. It’s supposed to be “and drew his name” NOT “ and drew his cane”

@nut_history Pacific Coast division missing three teams actually located on the Pacific Coast, but includes Denver and Las Vegas? Whereas West division includes three teams located on the Pacific coast, but is missing three teams located in cities from the west. Did you fail geography?

@interesting_aIl Should be defined as longest direct path you can travel on land, including any existing bridges as needed. Correct answer would’ve been from the northwestern most point of Alaska all the way down to the tip of South America. There is a bridge over the Panama Canal.

@bansalmanav @sanjeev__kapoor You can certainly turn off the ignition of a car and therefore the fuel supply while it is running. Your analogy of putting it in reverse is not equivalent to engine fuel shut off.

@sanjeev__kapoor Why there is even an option to cut off fuel supply mid air? Even in cars you can not switch to reverse gear while driving forward at some speed. What is need of cutting fuel supply when plane is mid air.

I can challenge the most seasoned pilot to turn off both, three stepped Fuel Control Switches on a Boeing 787 in under a second. That’s what this report seems to assume. What a joke? It's time to question the logic, not just blame the crew.

@billbarnwell Mahomes holds the record for highest cap % QB to win a Superbowl at 17%. Tom Brady is 2nd at 14%. The 5th highest for further context is Stafford at 10%. Top dollar QB contracts don't win Superbowls. 🤷

Brock Purdy's average salary on his new deal ($53 million) amounts to 19% of the current salary cap ($279.2 million). Here's a list of guys since 2020 who have signed multi-year extensions as their second contracts, the percentage of the cap their deals represented at the time, and what their AAV would amount to if we translate it to the current cap environment: Joe Burrow 24.5% $68.4 million Josh Allen 23.6% $65.9 million Justin Herbert 23.4% $65.3 million Kyler Murray 22.7% $63.4 million Jalen Hurts 22.7% $63.4 million Patrick Mahomes 22.7% $63.4 million Trevor Lawrence 21.5% $60.0 million Tua Tagovailoa 20.8% $58.1 million Deshaun Watson 20.2% $56.4 million AAV isn't the best or only measure of contract value, and we'll know more about the guarantee structure when the full details come out, but the only QB who signed a smaller multi-year extension with his existing team since 2020 than Purdy by AAV is Daniel Jones (17.8%).

As an emancipated adult at 8 yrs old, I had a drivers license at 12 in KS I always had prearranged places to stay on road trips. The first in ‘63 at 13 from Topeka to Wellington, CO to see friends and then back the next day in a ‘56 Chevy. From the age of 5 I took day trips on trains on Wednesdays (my day off from school) to go to museums and libraries in other cities. Always by myself. In the summer I traveled on the Super Chief to CA and back to Kansas City , also by myself. Driving, there used to be tons of hotels on hwy 50 and route 66 that would let anyone of any age with $6 or $8 have a room; Motel 6 was my favorite.

😡 My 20-year-old son (who turns 21 next month) was driving home to Indiana from Florida today—a grueling 19-hour trip. But guess what? Not a single @Marriott or @HiltonHotels in northern Florida or Georgia along I-75 would let him check in to sleep for the night. Even though I offered to prepay with my credit card, they all refused, citing “company policy” that prohibits anyone under 21 from checking in without an "adult." I have some serious questions: 1. How is it that you can pay taxes and even go to war at 18, yet Marriott and Hilton don’t consider you old enough to check into a hotel room with a guaranteed credit card? 2. Isn’t this age discrimination? What if they told a 90-year-old they were too old to check into a hotel alone? 3. Is it really reasonable to force a 20-year-old to sleep in his car on the side of the road or drive all night? Am I supposed to fly to Florida and drive home with my son—who is old enough to fight for his country—just to keep him - and others on the road- safe? What am I missing here? 🤔
