@CPFC_Tampa It is definitely a timing thing. The latter transfers both look like we're clueless and also slow fans to whine and complain about the board not spending

Yet, the stigma continues that Palace aren’t willing to spend on the market. Why is this? My take: it’s not an issue of spending. It’s an issue of 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔. Of Palace’s ten most expensive transfers since 2021, SEVEN of them were signed within three days of the deadline.

Crystal Palace are often labeled as a club that do not spend much in the transfer market. This may have once been true - especially early in their Premier League tenure - but has there been a change in SE25 recently? As always, let’s use the numbers! 🧵 #CPFC

1 - Press report Zack Polanski does something wrong 2 - His supporters spend 24 hours denying he did anything wrong and attack the reporters 3 - Zack Polanski admits he did the wrong thing and apologises, his supporters move on like nothing happened. Rinse & repeat.

Board of Deputies of British Jews
Caricaturists and their editors must take care that their depictions of Jews in public life do not wade into centuries old anti-Jewish tropes. We have seen a number of examples of political cartoons published depicting Zack Polanski that are a cause for concern. We call on publications to show the utmost vigilance and stringency on these issues.

@InchOrInfinity Maybe because it was an accident and not actually deliberate? But don't let facts get in the way

Why is burning down an LGBTQ+ nightclub full of people not considered a terror offense but holding up signs is?

When Right Wingers said "All Lives Matter" when commenting on Black Lives Matters protests, they were rightly condemned. Now many of the same who condemned them are doing exactly the same thing.
Oz Katerji@OzKaterji

I can’t believe this even needs to be said, but a Muslim man stabbing his Muslim friend before going on an antisemitic rampage and stabbing Jews is obviously not the same. One is a hate crime, the other isn’t. The fact that the hate crime is being focused on is correct.

@GhostInCyber @ThomasWillett9 What's clear is that some accounts are using this incident - inappropriately - to either try and score political points against Labour, or stir up hatred against other minorities. Noone commented because they were waiting for evidence.

@tony_gee @ThomasWillett9 yet in the last three days, where it was presumed to be a violent hate crime, there has been silence from government…

@AffinityWater I received a letter saying I can expect to pay 31p per week more for my combined charges. So why has my direct debit been increased by £15 per month? That's about ten times the expected increase?

@CPFC_Tampa He's so good. In terms of physical attributes and talent, he's arguably better than Guehi at the same age. His strength and composure on the ball are brilliant to see

Asking a teenager to replace one of football’s best central defenders is a tall order, but Jaydee Canvot has accepted that challenge. Ever-improving with starter minutes, he rose to the occasion in a huge QF leg vs Fiorentina. Composure. Control. Discipline. At just 19! #CPFC

@CPFCHQ Needs to develop an understanding with others in the squad. But he is clearly a very good footballer. Typical for many La Liga imports, he needs this season to develop and settle. We'll see the benefit next season, under a manager who can hopefully appreciate him
