Highlights for the GOALS patch this Thursday: - Improved lofted passes by reducing dispersion - Nerfed speed of long ground through passes - Reduced shot dispersion and the frequency of shots hitting the post - Nerfed goalkeeper rushing and reflexes to make aggressive rush-outs less effective - Increased resistance to physical challenges while on the ball - Disabled AI-initiated passive barges, reducing "auto defending" - Reduced AI overtracking - Improved attacking AI runs

Question: One situation that can feel like “auto defending” in GOALS, even though it isn’t, is when an AI-controlled defender accidentally runs into an attacker and wins the ball. (Our AI never actively presses the tackle button.) What do you think is the best solution? 1. Reduce the effectiveness of these accidental AI tackles compared to manually controlled defenders. 2. Remove them completely, even if it means the AI sometimes just stands there instead. 3. Add collision avoidance, so AI defenders try not to run into attackers in the first place.

@andreas @PlayGOALS The good manual defenders this patch have Been nerfed in my opinion u don’t get rewarded as much for player switching fast and running back with midfielders is really effective and defensive ai tracks run too much please make defending harder and more rewarding please

@topdivision54 @Turbuleence Yes. It’s a telegraphing issue. It happens but we don’t really show it.

Some of the things we are working on for the patch next week: - Better physicality. Stronger manual defending. - Slight buff to the new second man press system. - Better and more fluid movement. - Improved ground through passes. Especially noticeable on shorter ones. - Fix for passes and shots that sometimes could feel delayed. - Offensive and defensive AI bug fixes. - GK bug fixes and increased willingness to dive.

@StallionSama The defenders mark the attackers too tightly and the second man press needs a limit also the strikers ai is not the greatest they always go offside. The only effective way of scoring right now is through overheading the pass selection on ground through balls need work

Let’s talk about P2W players complaining about Smart Assist (SA). It makes zero sense.Firstly, you paid Coinami just so you could win, right? (That’s Pay to Win). Then Konami introduces Smart Assist to level the playing field. "Since it's always about P2W players winning, how about we make the game fair."I play both P2W and F2P. I use SA, and you’ll never see me complaining. If I can pay real money just to win, why should I be annoyed that someone who can’t pay is using Smart Assist to survive the game?P2W players want it entirely one-sided. You think everyone is going to put money down just to win a damn game?If we are being honest, P2W players started this cycle. There is nothing we can do, and nothing Konami will do, if we want a fair game. Imagine scoring crazy goals against F2P players who don't have your special, overpowered cards.
